Working With Our Team in Avondale Estates

This page focuses on finding the cause of neck pain after a motor vehicle collision. The first decision is whether symptoms fit whiplash, a disc problem, a nerve issue, or another injury pattern.

The neck pain treatment plan may include an injury evaluation, posture assessment, imaging review, or targeted procedure. The service fits people whose neck pain began or worsened after an auto accident, but it isn't general primary care or urgent care.

Patients often need more than a label for the pain. Our team connects exam findings with treatment choices and keeps detailed medical documentation for the care record. We also work with personal injury attorneys when a patient needs coordinated records during treatment.

  • Describe when the neck pain began and how the collision affected it.
  • Bring available medical records, imaging reports, and insurance or attorney information.
  • Report numbness, weakness, headaches, arm pain, or changes in movement.
  • Ask how the findings support the proposed treatment plan.

The staff (Tracy) and the medical folks are very nice. They explain everything to you in plain language before you even get started, and once you see doctor (Dr Scott), the assistant (Areyana) is gentle & sweet. They both will walk you through the entire process verbally, as they go and they make sure you are good before you leave as well. Above & beyond when it comes to bedside manner. Just make sure you don't get lost in the Kroger parking lot, listening to GPS. The clinic is inside Arrowhead across the street, behind Subway.

Questions about neck pain care after a collision

How is the cause of neck pain evaluated for Neck Pain Treatment?

Physical examination provides the first clinical assessment of neck pain after a collision. Premier Injury Specialists checks movement, strength, reflexes, posture, and tenderness, then reviews symptom patterns and available imaging. Numbness, weakness, headaches, or arm pain can guide further nerve or spine assessment. The findings support a documented treatment plan.

What does a pain management physician do for whiplash for Neck Pain Treatment?

A pain management physician evaluates whiplash and matches care to the injury pattern. Our team reviews the crash history, neck movement, muscle tenderness, headaches, and nerve symptoms. Treatment may include an epidural steroid injection, facet joint injection, or another targeted procedure when the findings support it. Results vary by condition.

Which records should I bring to the first visit for Neck Pain Treatment?

Medical records and imaging reports give our team useful context before care is discussed. Bring collision details, prior evaluations, medication information, imaging reports, and any attorney or MedPay information you have. These records help connect your symptoms with earlier findings and support thorough medical documentation.

When might nerve testing be discussed?

Nerve testing may be discussed when neck pain includes numbness, weakness, tingling, or pain that travels into an arm. Our team compares those symptoms with strength, reflex, and movement findings before recommending additional assessment. The test is not needed for every neck injury, so the clinical pattern guides that decision.

Why might injections be considered for neck pain?

Targeted injections may be considered when exam findings point toward an inflamed joint, disc area, or irritated nerve. Options can include facet joint injections, epidural steroid injections, or medial branch blocks. Our physicians explain the purpose, possible risks, and other care choices before a procedure is selected.

Does auto accident care use MedPay or an attorney lien?

Auto accident care may be billed through MedPay or an attorney lien. Our staff reviews the available billing information during the consultation, while medical decisions remain based on the injury and clinical findings. Patients should bring relevant policy or attorney details so the records and billing path can be discussed clearly.
