Supporting Clients Across Riverdale

This service is for people whose pain or other symptoms began after a motor vehicle collision. We assess the body areas involved, review available records, and connect the findings to a clear treatment plan.

The buyer decision is often whether ongoing symptoms need focused pain care. Our practice treats collision injuries only, so general primary care, urgent care, and workers’ compensation care fall outside this service. Riverdale patients can request care through our Stockbridge clinic, which serves the greater Metro Atlanta area.

  • Bring collision records, medication details, insurance information, and any available imaging reports.
  • Tell us where pain, weakness, numbness, headaches, or limited movement began.
  • Ask how proposed injections or other procedures relate to the evaluation findings.

Match findings to records

We compare the examination with accident records, prior care, and available diagnostic information.

We explain whether medication guidance, an injection, another procedure, or continued evaluation fits the findings.

Questions about collision injury evaluations

What should I bring to an auto accident injury evaluation?

Imaging reports, accident records, a medication list, and insurance information are useful for the first evaluation.

Bring any records you already have, even if they seem incomplete. The clinical exam adds current findings about movement, strength, sensation, and pain. Personal injury attorneys can help coordinate documents when they are involved, but patients can still discuss available records directly with our team.

Who provides this type of injury evaluation?

Premier Injury Specialists provides focused medical evaluations for people injured in motor vehicle collisions.

Board-certified physicians in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine lead care with support from a certified physician assistant. The practice focuses on collision injuries, so general primary care, urgent care, and workers’ compensation care are outside its service scope.

Which treatments may follow an evaluation for whiplash or a herniated disc?

Treatment may include medication guidance, targeted injections, nerve blocks, or other interventional pain procedures.

Options can include epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, medial branch blocks, occipital nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and joint injections. The clinical findings and affected body area guide the plan. Results vary, and no procedure guarantees relief.

How do MedPay and an attorney lien relate to collision care?

MedPay or an attorney lien may provide a billing path for collision-related treatment.

The arrangement depends on the patient’s case and available coverage. We discuss billing during the consultation and work with personal injury attorneys on documentation when requested. Patients should confirm their specific financial responsibilities before treatment begins.

When should I ask about an injection or nerve block?

Ask about an injection or nerve block after the examination identifies a condition that the procedure may address.

The discussion should cover the target area, purpose, expected limits, and other care options. Epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, and occipital nerve blocks serve different pain patterns. Our physicians explain why a procedure fits, or why another plan may be safer.

What changes the care plan if my symptoms spread into an arm or leg?

Radiating pain, numbness, or weakness can change the evaluation because these symptoms may involve nerve irritation.

The examination checks strength, sensation, reflexes, and movement in the affected area. We then relate those findings to the patient’s history and records. Tell us when the symptoms began and whether they are changing before the consultation.
