Auto Accident Injury Evaluation for Vinings crash patients

This visit is for people who develop pain or other symptoms after a motor vehicle collision. The work centers on the injury record, not general primary care or workers' compensation care.

Your decision is whether you need a focused medical review, treatment planning, or supporting documentation for a personal injury claim or MedPay coverage. Our board-certified pain management physicians assess conditions such as whiplash, herniated discs, radiculopathy, headaches, and traumatic brain injuries.

Bring the records you have, but don't delay care because one document is missing. We can explain which information matters for the next step and refer for imaging when appropriate.

  • Bring insurance information and any claim details you already have.
  • Bring the accident report, medical records, imaging results, and symptom journal when available.
  • Write down new pain, numbness, weakness, headaches, and changes in daily activity.
  • Ask how findings will be documented for personal injury claims or MedPay coverage.

Process

How we complete a crash injury evaluation

1

Review the crash and insurance information

We record the collision details, current symptoms, prior care, and insurance information that applies to the visit.

2

Assess pain, movement, and nerve signs

The exam checks areas such as the neck, back, joints, strength, sensation, and pain that travels into an arm or leg.

3

Consider records and imaging

We review available medical records and imaging results, then refer for imaging when the findings support it.

4

Set the treatment and documentation plan

We explain the findings and discuss care options, follow-up needs, procedures, and medical documentation.

How we approach crash-related pain care

Board-certified pain medicine physicians

Board-certified providers in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine assess crash-related pain and nerve symptoms. The first visit focuses on your condition and records, not a preset treatment.

Treatment matched to findings

An exam may lead to medication guidance, imaging referral, physical care coordination, or procedures such as epidural steroid injections and facet joint injections.

Documentation for the claim

We prepare medical documentation that records symptoms, findings, care, and follow-up needs. This service is not the right fit for general primary care, urgent care, or workers' compensation care.

What this injury review helps you decide

A focused exam connects your symptoms with possible crash-related conditions.

Medical records and imaging results give the care plan a clearer clinical basis.

Written documentation supports communication with an attorney or MedPay carrier.

A treatment plan may include injections, nerve blocks, or other pain care when appropriate.

Same-day evaluations are often available for patients who need an early medical review.

I had a great experience at premier injury specialist after my car accident. From the moment I walked in, Tracy, the patient coordinator, made sure I understood the process and felt comfortable. Tony, the medical assistant, did an amazing job explaining the procedure in detail, which eased my nerves. Dr. Vyas thoroughly reviewed my MRI and took the time to explain my condition and treatment options. He was very honest and upfront about the procedure, making sure I truly needed the injection before administering it. His transparency and genuine care for my well-being reassured me that this office isn’t just in it for the money — they are truly invested in their patients’ health. I highly recommend this office to anyone in need of pain management. They provide exceptional care with professionalism and integrity.

Questions about crash injury evaluations

What records should I bring to an injury evaluation for Auto Accident Injury Evaluation?

Insurance information, the accident report, medical records, imaging results, and a symptom journal are useful for an injury evaluation. Bring what you have, even if the file is incomplete.

These records help us connect the crash with your symptoms and prior care.

  • Accident report
  • Clinic or hospital notes
  • Imaging reports or discs
  • Current symptom notes

Premier Injury Specialists uses the available record to plan the next clinical step.

Which treatments may help whiplash or a herniated disc?

Treatment depends on the exam and documented findings, but options may include pain management, imaging referral, injections, or coordinated follow-up. Whiplash may involve neck muscles, joints, or nerves, while a herniated disc can affect nearby nerves. We discuss whether an epidural steroid injection, facet joint injection, or another option fits your condition.

How does a symptom journal help the medical review?

A symptom journal shows when pain starts, where it travels, and what affects daily activity. Record headaches, numbness, weakness, sleep changes, and movement limits in plain language. Bring the notes to the visit so we can compare your report with the exam. A journal supports the clinical record, but it doesn't replace medical testing.

When should I seek urgent care after a collision?

Urgent medical care is appropriate for severe weakness, trouble breathing, loss of balance, or new loss of bladder or bowel control. Those signs can point to a serious problem that needs prompt attention. For ongoing pain, headaches, numbness, or reduced movement without those warning signs, request a focused injury evaluation and bring your available records.

Why might imaging be recommended after the first visit?

Imaging may be recommended when the exam and symptom pattern need more detail. A scan can help assess suspected disc, joint, or other structural problems, but the choice depends on the clinical findings. We review available imaging first and refer when appropriate. Your records should include the report and images when those materials are available.

Does the practice accept MedPay for collision-related care for Auto Accident Injury Evaluation?

Yes, Premier Injury Specialists accepts MedPay arrangements for qualifying collision-related care. Payment handling depends on the claim and the services involved. Share your insurance information before or during the consultation so the office can discuss the arrangement. Attorney liens are also accepted for personal injury matters.
