  • Review whether joint pain began or worsened after the collision.
  • Bring current medication details and any available medical records.

Process

How We Build an Arthritis Pain Plan

1

Review the collision and symptoms

We discuss when the pain began, how it flares, and which movements or daily tasks it affects.

2

Check medicines and related conditions

We review current medicines and assess related symptoms such as neck pain, back pain, sciatica, headaches, or radiculopathy.

3

Set treatment goals

We connect the care plan to goals such as improved movement, better daily function, or clearer pain control.

4

Explain suitable care

We explain whether medication review, a joint injection, nerve block, or another available method fits the findings.

5

Document the ongoing plan

We record the evaluation, treatment decisions, and follow-up needs through one coordinated practice.

What Patients Get From This Arthritis Care

A focused injury assessment

We review the collision history, pain pattern, movement limits, and related diagnoses before discussing treatment. General primary care and unrelated medical needs fall outside this service.

Board-certified pain physicians

Our team includes board-certified physicians in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine, along with a certified physician assistant.

Treatment matched to findings

Joint injections, nerve blocks, epidural steroid injections, and medication review are considered only when they fit the condition and stated treatment goals.

What This Care Helps You Decide

A focused evaluation helps separate joint pain from nerve, neck, or back symptoms.

Medication review gives the care plan a safer starting point.

Treatment goals keep the next step tied to movement and daily function.

Detailed records give patients and personal injury attorneys a clearer account of care.

Coordinated visits reduce the need to explain the same collision history to separate practices.

Choosing the Next Arthritis Pain Care Step

These options address different findings, so the evaluation guides the choice.

Questions About Arthritis Pain Care

When does arthritis pain need more than lifestyle changes?

Lifestyle changes need a broader treatment plan when pain persists, flares often, or limits daily function. Our team reviews the injury, medicines, movement limits, and related symptoms before recommending care. The plan may include medication review, targeted injections, or continued observation. Severe new weakness or numbness needs prompt medical attention.

What kind of doctor handles arthritis pain after a car accident?

Premier Injury Specialists provides this care through board-certified physicians in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. The evaluation focuses on collision-related pain, function, and treatment goals. A certified physician assistant also supports care. General primary care, urgent care, and workers’ compensation cases fall outside this practice’s stated focus.

How does a medication review affect my treatment plan?

Medication review shows how current drugs relate to pain control and treatment safety. We ask what you take, how you use it, and whether pain flares continue. That information helps shape the next discussion about joint injections, nerve blocks, or other care. Bring an updated medicine list when possible.

Which symptoms suggest arthritis pain may involve a nerve?

Burning pain, tingling, numbness, or pain that travels along an arm or leg can suggest nerve involvement. We assess those symptoms with the joint and spine findings. Related conditions may include radiculopathy or sciatica. New weakness or rapidly worsening symptoms need prompt medical assessment.

Why do pain flares matter during an evaluation?

Pain flares show how symptoms change with movement, activity, or rest. We ask when flares occur and how they affect sleep or daily tasks. That pattern helps connect treatment goals with function. Patients in Jonesboro can request care through our Stockbridge clinic and discuss the full collision history.

What changes the cost of arthritis pain care?

The evaluation, selected procedure, medical findings, and billing arrangement change the cost of care. We offer Free Consultations and explain the planned service before treatment. MedPay or an attorney lien may apply for eligible auto accident care. Ask about the expected care path during the consultation.

Can arthritis pain care include a joint injection?

Joint injections may be included when the affected joint and treatment goals support them. We first assess the pain source, medical history, and related symptoms. The clinician explains the purpose and limits of the procedure before care. Results vary, so no injection can promise the same response for every patient.
